Travel to Mexico: is it mandatory to perform a PCR test before?
The answer to this question is no. You do not need to take a PCR test or equivalent test to travel to Mexico. You should know that a national system of red lights has been set up in Mexico consisting of 4 colors: red, orange, yellow and green.
The color red designates areas with the most restrictions. The color green, on the other hand, means no restrictions. Since June 9, 2021, Oaxaca and Mexico City have moved into the green zone. While Quintana Roo and Baja California find themselves in the orange zone.
